Consumer Health Data Notice
Last updated: May 30, 2026
This notice is required by the Washington My Health My Data Act (RCW 19.373) and is provided to all PDCAtracker users regardless of state of residence. It explains how we collect, use, share, and let you control consumer health data.
Categories of consumer health data we collect
- Self-reported daily mood ratings (1-10) and any optional notes you attach.
- Self-reported Four-Rooms scans (Business, Health, Relationships, Growth) as above/level/below, with any optional notes per room.
- Room floors (your written non-negotiable minimums per room).
- Weekly room spotlight selection.
- Color quiz answers, derived tallies, primary/secondary color, and coaching-tone preference.
We do not collect biometric data, clinical health records, device-sensor health data (heart rate, sleep, steps), precise location, or genetic data.
Sources
All consumer health data is self-reported by you through the app. We do not infer it from third parties, advertising IDs, or device sensors.
How we use it
- To render your history back to you in the app (charts, heatmaps, streaks).
- To power the coaching prompts the app generates from your own data.
- To produce digests and exports you request.
We do not sell consumer health data. We do not share it with advertisers, data brokers, or affiliates for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not use it to train AI models.
Who we share it with
We share consumer health data only with the limited processors necessary to run the service:
- Amazon Web Services (RDS Postgres, encrypted at rest) — primary database hosting.
- Stripe — billing only; never receives mood/rooms/color data.
- Resend — transactional email; never receives mood/rooms/color data.
All processors are bound by data processing agreements that prohibit secondary use of your data.
Your rights
- Right to consent or withdraw. Health-data collection is gated by a separate opt-in consent shown when you first visit a logging surface. Withdraw at any time from the Consumer health data section in Settings; new writes will be blocked immediately.
- Right to know and access. Download a JSON export of all consumer health data we hold about you from Settings.
- Right to delete. Delete all consumer health data history from Settings without affecting your account.
- Right to correct. Edit or re-log any entry from the in-app surfaces (Mood, Rooms, Color).
- Right to appeal. If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing us at the address below. We will respond within 45 days.
Retention
Consumer health data is retained while your account is active. When you delete your account, all consumer health data is soft-deleted immediately and permanently removed within 90 days, except where law requires longer retention.
Geographic scope
The service is currently offered only to residents of the United States (including Puerto Rico, Guam, U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands) and Canada (excluding Quebec). Consumer health data is processed in the United States.
